A Decade in the Making: Why We Created Our Own Lash Products

After more than ten years in the lash industry, we’ve learned one thing: the products you use matter just as much as the technique behind them.

Throughout our journey, we tested countless lash extensions, adhesives, tweezers, and supplies from manufacturers around the world. Some products worked beautifully one month and changed the next. Some created incredible retention but sacrificed flexibility. Others looked beautiful out of the box but didn’t perform consistently in real-life conditions.

As artists, we refused to settle.

Every inconsistency affected not only our work, but also our clients’ experience. We wanted lashes that stayed soft and lightweight, fans that opened effortlessly, and an adhesive that delivered exceptional retention without compromising precision or reliability.

So we made a decision that would become one of the biggest challenges of our career—we would create our own products.

What sounded simple quickly became years of research, testing, and refinement.

We worked closely with manufacturers, requested sample after sample, adjusted specifications, compared materials, and tested every batch in different temperatures, humidity levels, and working environments. Some products looked perfect but failed during wear. Others performed well but didn’t meet our standards for consistency.

Many prototypes never made it past our testing table.

We weren’t interested in putting our logo on someone else’s product. We wanted products we could confidently use on every client who trusted us with their eyes.

Our lash extensions were carefully developed to deliver a deep, rich black finish, an ultra-soft texture, consistent curls, and lightweight comfort. We wanted every strip to fan beautifully, every set to look luxurious, and every client to forget they were even wearing extensions.

Creating our adhesive was an even greater challenge.

A great lash glue isn’t just about speed. It needs to perform consistently through changing seasons, varying humidity, and long appointment days. It has to give artists confidence with every dip while providing clients with excellent retention.

Finding that balance took years.

We tested formula after formula until we created an adhesive that met the standards we had dreamed about throughout our careers—fast, dependable, smooth to work with, and designed for professional lash artists who refuse to compromise on quality.

Today, every product carrying the Lashes Look Studio name represents more than a brand.

It represents thousands of lash sets performed, countless hours of education, years of trial and error, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

These aren’t products created by marketers.

They’re products created by lash artists—for lash artists.

Because after ten years behind the lash bed, we knew exactly what professionals needed.

And we weren’t willing to stop until we created it.
